Zoning Change Sought Near 13th & Pasewalk
NORFOLK - The Norfolk City Council has given initial approval to a zoning change near a busy intersection. Thomas and Necole Cook are seeking the change from R-2 residential to C-1 commercial on three residential properties just east of 13th and Pasewalk Avenue and around the corner at 601 Columbia. Their attorney, Todd Vetter, says the Cooks had difficulty in renting out the homes primarily because of the location. He says the area has also moved to more of a commercial area. The Council approved the zoning change on first reading on an 8-0 vote.
