WWII Exhibit Stops In Norfolk
NORFOLK - An exhibit that explores the experiences of Midwest prisoners of war captured and held in Nazi Germany made a stop Monday at the Norfolk Public Library. Michael Luick-Thrams, executive director of the non-profit education organization "Traces" tells 106 KIX NEWS the "Behind Barbed Wire" Buseum has been in over 3,000 communities in 26 states while a similar bus is currently in the Northeastern states. He says a third bus with a German POW perspective will travel through Germany and Austria next year.
