Woman Victim Of Downtown Robbery
NORFOLK - A Norfolk woman was the victim of a robbery Wednesday afternoon in the downtown area. The mugging was reported over the noon hour in the parking lot of U.S. Bank at 333 Norfolk Avenue. According to the Norfolk Police Division Calls for Service log, officers were called to the scene at 12:10 p.m. by a report that a purse had been stolen. They searched for a suspect described as wearing a brown workman's type coverall with a hood up, running south on Fourth Street. No other information is available at the present time.
