Wells Fargo Closing Financial Offices
NORFOLK - Wells Fargo announced late Wednesday it is restructuring its Financial division, including closing 638 Wells Fargo Financial offices in the U.S. including one in Norfolk. As part of the consolidation, Wells Fargo plans to eliminate a total of 3,800 positions. The layoffs are about 27 percent of Wells Fargo Financial's 14,000 employees. The restructuring does not impact Wells Fargo banks.
