Weight Restrictions On Highway 20 Bridge
LAUREL - A bridge approximately four miles northeast of Laurel on Highway 20 has been posted with weight restrictions. The Nebraska Department of Roads' Kevin Domogalla says heavy truck traffic will need to use an alternate route in that area. He says legal limits are eleven tons for straight trucks, 16 tons for tractor trailers. Domogalla says the weight restrictions will remain in place until the bridge is replaced, which is tentatively in the fall of 2011.
