Wednesday P.M. Road Closures
NORFOLK - Water is still over a part of Highway 81 north of Columbus, but partial traffic is being allowed back on the road. The Nebraska Department of Roads reports slow traffic is moving on that stretch of highway due to the roadway reduced to one lane between the Platte Center Spur and Highway 22 due to floodwaters. The DOR is also reporting that highway 12 in Knox County is closed from Highway 14 east to the junction to the Santee Spur due to water over the road. Eastbound traffic can still access the Standing Bear Bridge. Highways 275 and 32 between West Point and Scribner also remain closed due to flooding.
