Wayne St. College Marks A Milestone
WAYNE - This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of Wayne State College. Interim President Curt Frye says Wayne State initially started as a teacher's college, but has become a comprehensive institution, meeting the needs of the region and the state. A centennial birthday celebration is planned this weekend to coincide with the school's homecoming activities.
