Wacky Wayne Chicken Show
WAYNE (AP) - Wayne's annual Chicken Show has been named one of the nation's wackiest summer events. The July 9-11 event celebrates poultry, both living and covered with barbecue sauce. The event features the National Cluck Off, where competitors offer their best 15-second impersonations of a chicken, a chicken legs competition. The Chicken Show, which is coordinated by the Wayne Area Chamber of Commerce, received the wacky recognition from the travel advice site, TripAdvisor, as part of a list of the nation's ten wackiest summer events.
