Valuations Could Impact NPS Budget
NORFOLK - The director of Business Services for the Norfolk Public School District says the Madison County Assessors Office is predicting a one-percent valuation increase this year. Or Vickie Schwartz says the worst case scenario could be no change in the valuation this year meaning there will be no increase in its expenditure budget or a very minimal increase. She told the Norfolk Board of Education Monday night, they could be operating on the same budget of expenditures next school year as they are this year.
