VA Outreach In Stanton
STANTON - A new outreach initiative to provide rural-area veterans counseling and information on Department of Veterans Affairs and other Veteran-related benefits will be held over the next two days in Stanton. The Department of Veterans Affairs is partnering with the Nebraska Department of Veterans Affairs, Veteran service agencies, county Veteran service officers and military transition advisors -- to bring information and services at a Veterans of the Armed Forces Open House. It will be held today and Saturday at the Veterans of Foreign War post at 1106 Veteran Avenue in Stanton. Veterans and their family members with questions about benefits are encouraged to stop in at the open house from 12-7 today and 9-to-1 Saturday.
