Used Electronics Collection in Madison
MADISON - A collection of used electronics and other items will be held tomorrow and Wednesday from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Fairgrounds in Madison. Al Mittan, coordinator of the PrairieLand RC&D, says items accepted include all computer components, TV's, small appliances and electronics - basically anything that sits on a counter and is plugged in. He says clean cardboard and paper will be collected for Green Fiber, along with Number 1 and 2 plastic containers. Madison Cub and Girl Scouts will be accepting aluminum cans, and Alter Trading Corporation will be on hand to take large appliances and scrap metal.
