U Of N Emrollment Hits 18-Year High
LINCOLN (AP) - The University of Nebraska's student enrollment has hit an 18-year high, but the growth rate will need to increase to meet the university's long-term goals. University of Nebraska President James B. Milliken says this year's enrollment has exceeded 50,000 students for the first time since 1993. Enrollment has increased for seven consecutive years. Enrollment among undergraduates, graduate and professional students grew slightly, but the number of first-time freshmen fell.
