Two Injured In Norfolk Collision
NORFOLK - Two people were injured in a car-sport utility vehicle collision Friday afternoon in west Norfolk. Norfolk Police Sergeant Dave Bos says an SUV pulling out of the Westside Plaza parking lot in the 2600 block of Norfolk Avenue, was struck by a westbound car around 2:20 p.m. The car was driven by Mark Shaffer, 49. Bos says the driver of the SUV, John Levi, 59, and a passenger in the car, Haley Shaffer, 17, were transported to Faith Regional Health Services. Levi was flown by LifeNet medical helicopter to a regional hospital for further treatment. Conditions on those injured are not available.
