Two Arrested for Stealing Alcohol from Target
NORFOLK - Two young women from Norfolk face charges after allegedly stealing alcoholic beverages from a local department store and assaulting that store's security officer. Norfolk Police Captain Leon Chapman says Ashley Lindahl, 18, and Ashley Titus, 19, are accused of taking five bottles of alcoholic beverages from the Target Store in the Sunset Plaza Mall on Wednesday, July 2nd. A store security officer attempted to stop the suspects, but they threw the officer to the ground and fled. Further investigation identified the two subjects and revealed that they were suspected of stealing alcohol from the store for several months. Chapman says Lindahl and Titus face charges of felony theft, robbery and minor in possession of alcoholic beverage. They were held in the Norfolk City Jail until being transferred to the Madison County Jail.
