Travel Concerns From Snow Storm
VALLEY - Travel will be very difficult through the day due to heavy, wet snow -- and some blowing snow is possible. The combination of snowfall and winds of 15-to-30 miles per hour will reduce visibilities to a half mile or less at times.
UNDATED - The City of Pierce has declared a Snow Emergency which will go into effect at 3 p.m. today. All vehicles need to be removed from all city streets prior to the time of the snow emergency or they will be ticketed and or towed. This snow emergency will remain in effect until further notice. SID #1 in Woodland Park has declared a Snow Emergency as of 5 p.m. Friday through the weekend-till further notice. No Parking allowed on either side of the street.
