Tour Norfolk's Most Historic Building

NORFOLK - Norfolk's grand old hotel -- The Kensington -- downtown at 4th Street and Norfolk Avenue will be open for tours this evening. It's part of the monthly program of the group Preserve Norfolk. Spokesman Christopher Amundson tells 106 KIX NEWS the building on the National Register of Historic Places has played a role in the city's history. It was the former home of the WJAG studios. The ballroom also hosted dignitaries such as John F. Kennedy, Jack Dempsey and Ronald Reagan.  Tonight's event will run from 5:30 to 7:15.
