Tornado Confirmed In Area County
VALLEY (AP) - The National Weather Service says a second tornado touched down in a rural area of eastern Nebraska during Tuesday's storms. The weather service said Wednesday its survey crews confirmed the second tornado struck in Cass County Tuesday and damaged a pole barn. Earlier, the weather service confirmed a tornado had touched down in Wayne County on Tuesday. The Cass County tornado was on the ground for a short while, but it rated EF1 on the Enhanced Fujita scale, with winds between 86 and 110 mph.
