Tom Osborne's Message To Norfolk Parents
NORFOLK - From one parent to another, Tom Osborne has a message for adults when it comes to kids and alcohol and drugs. He says "the most important thing you can do, is to model what you want." He says that means parents must abstain from alcohol and drugs if they want their children to do the same thing. Osborne, current University of Nebraska athletic director, legendary football coach at NU and former Nebraska congressman, says what you do is "probably what you're going to get." He was the featured speaker at a Town Hall meeting Monday night in Norfolk sponsored by the Healthy Communities Initiative Coalition.
