Three Arrested Tuesday in Norfolk

NORFOLK - Norfolk Police arrested three individuals on Tuesday in unrelated incidents. Captain Leon Chapman says Kasey Baker, 38, was arrested for acquisition of a controlled substance by deception, a Class Four felony. Chapman says Baker is accused of altering prescriptions written for her. Chapman says prescriptions appear to have been altered by Baker on at least three occasions. Officers also arrested Melissa Mesteth, 18, of Norfolk for felony theft and being a minor in possession of alcohol in connection with a June 29th incident at Target. Mesteth was one of three teenage girls allegedly filmed stealing alcohol and other merchandise totaling nearly $600. And Tuesday evening, Officers arrested Justin Grey, 32, on charges that he assaulted his stepson. The victim says the two were arguing, and his stepfather put him in a headlock position, causing the teen to have difficult breathing. Grey was arrested for strangulation and third degree domestic assault.
