After dropping the first three games of the Eastern Conference final, the Orlando Magic continued their revival last night with a 113-92 victory over Boston. The Magic hit 13-25 three-pointers. Dwight Howard led the way with 21 points and 10 rebounds to cut Boston's series lead to 3-2 heading to Game 6 Friday night in Boston. Jameer Nelson scored 24 points, and J.J. Redick had 14 to help the Magic to a frenetic pace that the Celtics couldn't sustain. A potential Game 7 would be in Orlando on Sunday. No NBA team has won a series after losing the first three games.
Michael Blatchford recorded his first hit since March 19th, as he brought home Carson Vitale with a two-out single in the bottom of the 12th to give the Creighton Bluejays a 6-5 victory over Bradley yesterday in an elimination game of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament at Wichita, Kansas. Blatchford's single through the left side capped a Creighton comeback, as the Jays rallied in the eighth inning from a four-run deficit.
