Northeast Nebraska wrestlers get set to compete in "Maine Exchange"
The top wrestlers from the northeast Nebraska area will battle the top wrestlers from Maine in the 26th annual “Maine Exchange”. The event will be held on Tuesday, June 22nd at 5:00 at the Norfolk Senior High School.
Representing northeast Nebraska on the “Blue Team” will be South Sioux City’s Austin Johnson & Ned Frazee; Wakefield’s Christian Gallardo & Trevor Rose; Madison’s Blake Eisenmann, Josh Eisenmann & Jake Smutny; Newman Grove’s Shelden Boschen; Wayne’s Logan Owens & Riley McManus; Battle Creek’s Jamie Gray; Norfolk High’s Nick Korth, Colby Lind & Keith Fowler; Winside’s Ethan Thies; Schuyler’s Easton Nelson; Columbus’ Josh Kloppel; and Crofton’s Calen List.
The “Red Team” will be made up of Elkhorn Valley’s Drew Smith; Plainview’s Corby Forbes & Teran Boyer; Columbus’ Parker Ridgeway; Battle Creek’s Karl Bonner; Crofton’s Nathan Merchen; Norfolk’s Blake Andersen, Mitch Lienemann, Thomas Moman & Aaron Wichman; Schuyler’s Klay Kasik & John Svoboda; Madison’s Kyle Ruh & Kurt Ruh; Stanton’s Paul Cheyney; Scribner/Snyder’s Dalton Fletcher; and Logan View’s Derek Mowinkel.
The Northeast Nebraska teams will be coached by Norfolk High’s Tony Brown and Wayne’s Anthony Lawrence. Admission is $4.
