Norfolk High girls tennis team concludes season at State Meet in Omaha
The Norfolk High girls tennis team concluded their season on the opening day of the Class "A" competition of the State Meet in Omaha. Samantha Marcellus lost her #1 Singles opening round match to North Platte's Crista Cain 6-2, 6-3. Brooke Spence lost her #2 Singles opening round match to Columbus' Jennifer Gokie 6-0, 6-0. Amanda Larson & Allison Praeuner won their #1 Doubles opening round match over Omaha Northwest's Rebecca Johnston & Emily Smith 6-3, 6-3. Larson & Praeuner lost their second round match to Omaha Marian's Kara Schuele & Katherine Nelsen 6-0, 6-0. Jordan Gutshall & Madelyn Hunsley lost their #2 Doubles opening round match to Millard North's Allison Johnson & Emily Oshima 6-3, 6-3.
