Norfolk High girls soccer team reaches State Tournament as wild-card
The Norfolk High girls soccer team has reached the State Soccer Tournament as a wild card. They are the eight seed in the Class “A” tournament and will play 14-1 Millard West in the opening round on Wednesday at 1:00 at Creighton’s Morrison Stadium. The 16-3 Lady Panthers were beaten last night by Omaha Westside in their district final match 4-0. Other matchups in the bracket have Omaha Burke versus Omaha Marian, Lincoln Southeast playing Millard North, and Elkhorn battling Omaha Westside. In the Class “B” girls bracket, Columbus Scotus will take on Platteview at Creighton’s Morrison Stadium at 6:00 on Thursday.
