Special Olympics Torch Run
NORFOLK - Norfolk citizens are being asked to welcome the National Special Olympics Torch Run to the community this morning. It's on its way to the 2010 Special Olympics USA National games to be held in Lincoln later this month. Runners will gather at Walgreens at 13th Street and Norfolk Avenue at approximately 11 a.m. and carry the torch east on Norfolk Avenue. An 11:30 a.m. ceremony has been moved from Johnson Park to the City Auditorium..
