Soccer Record In Norfolk
NORFOLK - It's a new world record -- if the Guinness World record people say so -- for a Norfolk soccer group. 16 members of the Bel Air Football Club set the new record Monday afternoon at 1:16 p.m. The players started play Sunday morning at 10:00 and broke the old record of 27:15 at 1:16 p.m. They went on to play for another hour before stopping play. Now the club will have to send in all the documentation they gathered over the weekend to the Guinness World Records people and await their certification. The match was sponsored by Lite Rock 97.5 and 106 KIX.
