Site Cleared for Chamber Building
NORFOLK - The former KFC building at 7th and Norfolk Avenue was demolished this morning to make way for the new Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center. The new facility will include space for the Chamber, Elkhorn Valley Economic Development Council, Madison County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Norfolk Area Recruiters and the Norfolk SCORE Chapter, as well as dedicated incubator space for prospective businesses. The state-of-the-art facility will be a LEED certified green building, one of only 10 LEED certified buildings in the state.
