Sightseers Present Problem for Authorities
NORFOLK - The residents of Norfolk who were asked to evacuate their homes Tuesday afternoon and evening were very cooperative. That's according to Norfolk Police Chief Bill Mizner But Mizner says people from outside of the flooded area have been a problem. Mizner says motorists and pedestrians have been a real issue on Omaha Avenue near the viaduct. He says sightseers are not usually watching the road and that increases the potential for accidents.
