Sex Offender Registray Violation
NORFOLK - An ankle monitor has determined a sex offender has been violating the state sex offender registry. Joshua Petersen was arrested by Norfolk Police on Tuesday. Police Captain Leon Chapman says Petersen's parole officer had been tracking the ankle monitor between September first and the sixth. It showed he was at a residence at 209 North Seventh Street. Petersen, 24, was initially booked into Norfolk City Jail and transferred to the Madison County Jail this morning.
