Several Honored at Chamber Banquet

NORFOLK - Several individuals, businesses and organizations received awards at last night's annual banquet of the Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce. Receiving the Friend of Tourism Award was the Madison County Museum. Joe Ferguson and Russ Wilcox received the Chairman's Award. Outstanding Board Member for the year was Scott Williams. Sally Lewis, general sales manager for 106KIX, received the Gerald Arkfeld Award, while Marv Rosberg was honored as the high points member of the Ambassadors. The Norfolk Oscar was awarded to the Norfolk Area First Responders and community volunteers for their work during the Protient Fire and evacuation of the southern tier of the city. And Ron Stauffer was named as the winner of this year's Ed Vrzal Award. About 25 businesses -- including LiteRock97.5 -- received Dream Big awards for either opening or expanding during the year.
