Separate Injury Accidents In Stanton County
STANTON - Separate accidents over the weekend in Stanton County sent three people to the hospital. Sheriff Mike Unger says two Stanton 17-year-olds -- Amber Daniel and Brittni Hart -- were injured after the car they were in left a county road eight miles southwest of Stanton, entered a ditch and rolled several times around 9:30 Sunday night. Both girls were wearing seat belts. The other accident occurred around 2:15 Monday afternoon when Lyle Hollman, 76, of Sioux Falls struck a cable as he maneuvered his motorcycle into the Pilger rest area on Highway 275. He was transported to Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk with a serious neck injury.
