SD Man Arrested Near Norfolk
NORFOLK - An Emery, South Dakota man is facing charges following an incident near Norfolk early Sunday morning. Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger says Jeffrey Schnabel, 26, attempted to flee in a vehicle that did not belong to him in the 200 block of South Eastwood just off Highway 275 around 2:30 Sunday morning. He was intoxicated and bleeding from injuries suffered in a fight. Unger says he had to be physically subdued and removed from the vehicle. Unger says Schnabel was transported to Faith Regional Health Services for treatment of his injuries. He was later released after he posted bond.
