Road, Bridge Repair To Impact County Budget
MADISON - Madison County Commissioners took an early look at the budget for the next fiscal year earlier this week. Board Chairman Jerry McCallum says damage to the county's roads and bridges from flooding in June will likely have a major impact on the final budget, depending on how much help is forthcoming from the federal government.
