River Levels Set New Record
NORFOLK - Long time residents of Norfolk say they have never seen the Elkhorn River this high before -- and they are right. Public Works Director Dennis Smith says the 16.85 foot level reached late Tuesday night was an all-time record in Norfolk, beating the 15.63 foot level reached on March 11, 1949.
