River at Norfolk Continues to Rise
NORFOLK - The Elkhorn River at Norfolk is now more than 3 feet above flood stage -- and rising. At 11 a.m. this morning, the river at Norfolk was at 15.3 feet and is now expected to crest at 16.5 feet this evening. The dike around TaHaZouka Park protects the area to a river level of 17 feet. The river is expected to remain above flood stage until at least Friday morning.
