Red Cross Opens "Comfort Station"
NORFOLK - The American Red Cross' emergency shelter for flood victims is transitioning into -- what is called -- "comfort station" effective at 7:00 Saturday morning. Chapter Executive Shalle Wolf says this evening will conclude overnight lodging at the shelter at the Norfolk City Auditorium. The hours of the comfort station will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Red Cross is a non-profit organization that relies on donations.
