Railroad Hopeful Worker Will Be Found Alive
NORFOLK - The Nebraska Central Railroad is not giving up hope that a worker missing in the swollen Elkhorn River will be found alive. At a Wednesday news conference, Nebraska Central General Counsel Bob Bach declined to identify the three men involved in the incident. Fire Chief Shane Weidner calls the river and its banks (quote) "extremely dangerous." He says he has no plans to put personnel on or near the river until flood waters recede.
