Railroad Committed to Replacing Failed Bridge
NORFOLK - Norfolk citizens who complain about delays caused by railroad trains crossing the heart of the city won't be bothered for a while -- but businesses that rely on the railroad for shipments will be scrambling for service. At a Wednesday afternoon news conference, Bob Bach, general counsel for Nebraska Central Railroad, said the company is committed to replacing the Elkhorn River bridge that collapsed Tuesday.
