One Day To Election

LINCOLN (AP) - Voter turnout is expected to be dismal for Tuesday's primary - so much so that the Nebraska Secretary of State's office won't even offer an estimate of how low. Gov. Dave Heineman and the state's three incumbent House representatives -- all Republicans -- are up for re-election, but face little in the way of challenges from within their party.

MADISON - The Madison County Clerk is predicting a 35-percent voter turnout during Tuesday's Primary Election, higher than most predictions in the state. Nancy Scheer says two ballot issues and two contested City Council races in Norfolk are expected to bring out more voters than usual in a Primary election.
