Officials Plan for Flood Recovery
NORFOLK - The loss of short-line railroad service to Norfolk may be one of the biggest financial costs of recent flooding. Madison County State Senator Mike Flood has been meeting with Mayor Sue Fuchtman and others to address the issue. He says residents of the city will see a temporary increase in truck traffic to accommodate the needs of industries that rely on rail service.
