NPPD Asking Cutomers to Use Less Electricity
The Nebraska Public Power District is asking customers to use less electricity. High temperatures have led to a high demand for power. Chief Operating Officer Tom Kent said yesterday that for 16 of the past 19 days, the customer electrical load has peaked higher than the system load record set in 2006.
