Northeast To Help Displaced Workers
SOUTH SIOUX CITY - Northeast Community College is offering special help to workers displaced by the closing of the John Morrell plant in Sioux City. Pam Miller, director of the South Sioux City Education Center, says about 200 individuals will take part in ESL immersion classes to help them qualify for other jobs in the area. Pepsi of Sioux City is providing funding assistance.
