Norfolk To Remember 9/11

NORFOLK - Church bells will be ringing across the city of Norfolk on Sunday to mark the tenth anniversary of the terrorist attacks on America. Mayor Sue Fuchtman is encouraging residents to pause at noon Sunday during a national Moment of Remembrance to pay tribute to those who died in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania. She says during the 12 noon observance, Norfolk fire and police stations will be ringing their respective sirens for one minute as a symbol of support and perseverance.
