Norfolk Teens Arrested For Attempted Robbery
NORFOLK - Norfolk Police have arrested two juveniles after they attempted to rob a man near his home in the early morning hours of last Thursday. Captain Leon Chapman says the two 17-year-olds boys were arrested Wednesday. Chapman says the man reported he had just entered his car in the 100 block of East Prairie shortly before 3 a.m. June third when the two teens approached him, called his names and demanded money. The victim remained in his car and called Police providing descriptions of the suspects. The 17-year-olds are currently in the Madison County Juvenile Detention Center in Madison.
