Norfolk Teen Arrested for July Burglary

NORFOLK - An 18-year-old Norfolk man has been arrested for a July burglary. Police Captain Leon Chapman says Alberto Pineda was arrested Friday for burglary and criminal mischief in connection with a July 10th burglary at 806 South 12th Street. DVD's, CD's stereo equipment, a reclining chair and 13-inch television were reported stolen. Chapman says a local business reported the names of two people selling the stolen DVD's and CD's, and those people told police they were selling the items for Pineda. At Pineda's residence, officers recovered the stolen TV. Pineda was arrested Friday and held in the Norfolk City Jail overnight. He was transferred to the Madison County Jail on Sunday.
