Norfolk School Principal Honored
NORFOLK - The principal at Washington Elementary School in Norfolk has been honored by the state association of elementary school principals. Chad Boyer is this year's recipient of the New Principal of the Year Award. Boyer, a Wayne State College graduate, has been principal at three Norfolk schools since 2005 -- Grant and Sunny Meadow, and now Washington Elementary. He started with the district in 1998 as a teacher at Woodland Park Elementary. Boyer was presented the award last week.
