Norfolk P.D. Seek Identity Theft Suspect
NORFOLK - Norfolk Police are asking the public's help in locating a man believed to be using a stolen identity. Police Captain Leon Chapman says California law enforcement authorities contacted Norfolk Police about the issue. They say a 30-to-40-year-old Hispanic man is using the identity of Gilbert Mendibles in the Norfolk area, but that identity has been stolen. Chapman says anyone with information about the man using the identity of Gilbert Mendibles is asked to contact either the Norfolk Police Division or Norfolk Area Crimestoppers.
