Norfolk Officials Aware Of Other Flood Issues

NORFOLK - Norfolk officials say they are focused on more that getting a railroad bridge that collapsed into the Elkhorn River restored. Mayor Sue Fuchtman says they are working with two homeowners near the river west of Norfolk who have some tough decisions to make. She says they also have concerns to the west of Norfolk where the community's water well field is located. Fuchtman suggested people with concerns may also contact Region #11 Emergency Management Coordinator Faythe Petersen for assistance. In addition, Senator Mike Flood says they are aware of infrastructure concerns due to flood damage in other parts of Madison County -- specifically around Battle Creek, Meadow Grove and Tilden.
