Norfolk Meeting To Discuss Bridge Permit
NORFOLK - A meeting will be held today in Norfolk with representatives of Nebraska's congressional delegation and officials of the Army Corps of Engineers and Federal Highway Administration. Congressman Jeff Fortenberry's representative in Norfolk -- Louis Pofahl -- says the meeting will discuss the permitting process related to getting a collapsed railroad bridge southwest of Norfolk back up and running. He says there's another step in the permitting process that may take a bit of time. Pofahl says they want to make sure there won't be months of red tape in order to get the project moving.
