Norfolk May Apply For Google Project
NORFOLK - The city of Norfolk may join other communities throughout the country in trying to convince Google to install a fiber optic network that would provide ultra high-speed Internet service. The company would fund the network's construction, which would provide for a connection 333 times faster than a three megabit connection. The issue was discussed Monday night during a work session of the Norfolk City Council.
