Norfolk Man Held In Traffic Death

COLUMBUS (AP) - A 21-year-old Norfolk man remains in custody, facing three charges in the death of a 19-year-old woman who was a passenger in his car when it crashed in Columbus. Genaro Anaya has been charged with vehicular homicide, driving under the influence and willful reckless driving. The accident occurred around 2:30 Saturday morning. The victim is identified as Candace Randall-Stewart, of Columbus. Two other passengers in the vehicle were taken to Columbus Community Hospital for treatment. A Platte County jailer says Anaya remained in custody this morning, pending $75,000 bail.
